I have forgotten how to write with a pen.  It takes me some time to get it right.

+1.  My handwriting has severely suffered in the past 5 years

Good call on the alarm just stopping eventually (I've never understood that), as well as the poor grammar.

I have another pet peeve.  When you're speaking to someone and you're playing the role of the expert -- they've hired you for your expertise -- then they want to argue with you and tell you what's what about the subject.  It's maddening.

I have a pet peeve where you ask someone a direct question (not a trick question or a loaded question) and they don't answer it, but they just repeat what they just said.  It happens at work a lot.

just to clarify,that's like...
Person A. asking person B. Where is the Mens bathroom?
Person B. replies with hmm Where's the bathroom?

I have a similar (I think) one that has driven me up the wall...They ask a question ,about what I just told them...
Me:I need you to read this over, initial it,and sign it anywhere...(hand them the piece of paper)
Them: You need me to sign this?

Me:Can I get a chicken sandwich,no Mayo,add Mustard.
Them: So you don't want Mayo on that?

Me: Can I get a plain,no sugar added, large Tea...
them:you want sweet tea?

Two of these happened to me today!

Yes. I used to have nice, neat handwriting. Now I kind of have to work at it. My work notes are basically chicken scratch. Also, my hand gets really tired when I write.

Most people are thankful I do 90+% of my stuff on a computer of some type, they don't have to try to read my handwriting.Which is really small, and incredibly horrendous chicken scratching.

two more quick ones...
1.) While cleaning up some scattered bookmarks in my browser,I remembered I saved this around Christmas...
I REALLY,really, really, really want one of these, but in my neighborhood,it get stolen night one,or a one of the older extremely religious folk would call the police claiming it's offensive. Tongue Cry

(Work safe Link Dr. Who item) http://www.thisplanetearth.co.uk/main/page64.html

2.) Is it really wrong of me.... When I hear, someone died in an automobile crash, because they were doing 75+mph on wet,or icy curvy/hilly country road...My first thought is...Thinning the herd...( I got accused of being insensitive asshole on this one,I didn't know the guy,nor his family)

No, more like:

Person A: I am having a problem with one of my clients.  He's not sure if he should accept this offer, because he doesn't know if he needs to keep paying us after this month.

Person B: Well, does he have other outstanding debts?

Person A: He just doesn't know if he needs to keep paying next month.

*My inevitable end to my Netflix subscription (I just get Blu-ray discs) -If the new post office rules take effect, closing sorting centers, post offices, and no Saturday mail....For me,everything will be sent to K.C. and back to mail something across town...So I'd have to send it on Mon.,Netflix gets it Weds, ships weds,I get it Fri...Not much of a service...
If the Post office raises rates to stay the way it is,then Netflix raises it rates...and it's not worth it any more....

Sorry for the bump but...
They announced yesterday that they are shutting down the postal sorting facility here in 2 phases by the end of the year (bye, bye 200 jobs) and my Netflix Subscription...I just can't see how it going to be worth it,between the 30 day delay on new releases (and 56 day delay from Warner Bros. releases now),and the time to exchange discs...The Netflix experience Grade....a C....Started out good, then became more trouble than it's worth for me...

It dawned on me today that I don't personally care about privacy.  In theory, I don't like companies or the government having unnecessary information about the population.  I don't like the policy of giving my phone number out when I buy something in a store.

But, despite not liking it, I just don't care.  I have nothing interesting enough about my life to hide.  ...and I don't even like the word "hide", because it implies that not wanting others to have your personal info known is "hiding".  But if Google goes through my search history, I just don't really give a crap, personally.

Complete contradiction. You do care because you don't like it. You just don't care enough to make any sort of statement such as a boycott.

I don't like the principle of it.  I don't personally care about the individual practice of it, towards me.
