Several news outlets are reporting that he has agreed to terms with the Dolphins.   They are just awaiting the results of his physical.  If that is the case, then looks like we have ourselves a new starting quarterback.  I was more comfortable with him from the get go than Manning because he knows Philbin and Sherman's system.  Plus, he won't hold the team hostage with the salary cap.

I'm REALLY curious what the financials of the deal are. Quarterback is such an important position that, provided not too much is guaranteed, I wouldn't mind anything up to $10M a year (for the "real" part of the contract, not counting any "paper" years at the end just to make people look good). So e.g. 5 years, $50 million. Would sound like a huge deal at way too much money, but if it were structured such that only one year at a time were guaranteed, I'd be fine with that.

I hope if Flynn does sign with the Dolphins,he fairs better than our last QB that hot girlfriend....That's about all I've got to say about that,but then again I have a serious thing for gingers,and Brunettes with English/Australian accents...

Personally,until I hear someone err...umm...and NFL insider type guy,or Flynn himself (on facebook or twitter) says he's signing some where...Then I'll believe it...Till then rumor...

Guys, let's not panic about Matt Flynn.  I'm guessing his agent told him to go back to his hotel so they could talk in private.  They are playing both sides against each other as they should.   However, the Seahawks would have to blow the Dolphins offer out of the water in order to get Flynn up there and he won't even be assured of a starting job.  Flynn knows Philbin and Sherman well and is comfortable in their system.  I think when all is said and done, Flynn will be a Dolphin by Monday night
