I voted yes.  He's clearly not what he used to be and while not necessarily on the level as Brandon Marshall, he is a locker room distraction.  One thing he never did was get in trouble with the law.  Now that that has changed, it's time to get rid of him and see what this young talent can do.  Young talent that had been overlooked by the previous inept regime.

Good move.  He seemed to be set on being a distraction.  I am disappointed and thought he learned something after last year.  Some people just don't grow up.

This is pretty much my thoughts exactly.

Watching Chad on Hard Knocks go into Philbin's office with his voice cracking begging Philbin for his job......That's what you call a player eating a plate full of "Humble Pie"

Too little too late, but it was nice to see one of these loud mouth Diva players  broken down and with all the bravado gone. Chad treated everything like a big joke. Not so funny anymore is it Chad!?!

I voted yes, but will admit I felt bad for the guy watching last night's "Hard Knocks."

It was painful to watch. And the public probably saw for the first time ever the "real" Chad Johnson. He said even after last weeks talk he got the message and was going to shut up all year. I believe him. Chad was always good at knowing where the line was and toe'ing the line and not crossing the line (with football matters at least). He made one of those 2 second mistakes that he will never live down that will haunt him forever. He probably lost control for 2 seconds and those 2 seconds will cost him everything personally and professionally.

Philbin and Miami did the right thing. They had to do it. But I don't feel sorry for Chad because he is smart enough to know better.
