Because it's his fault?

Would it have been unreasonable for Elin Nordegren to ask for attorney fees when she wanted a divorce from Tiger Woods?
Innocent until proven guilty?  No court of law has proven Chad Johnson to be guilty up to now.

No court found Tiger Woods "guilty" of adultery, either.

At the end of the day, she can ask for whatever she wants; it's the place of the divorce court to determine what she gets.  And if Chad continues his current stance ("I would never say anything bad about my wife"), then it's her word against... well, nothing, and the judge would have no reason not to grant her request.

If it comes out that she hit him first (which is not unthinkable, given her violent history), then maybe there's an argument to be made.  But barring something along those lines, she is perfectly entitled to stick him with the attorney fees.

Chad knows he is going to need to re-shape his image and such, refusing to pay his wife's attorney fee's when money is really not an object to him isn't the way to go. Just pay it, get the issue behind you and out of the public eye, and move on with life. Some battles aren't worth fighting and are just lose-lose! This is one of them.

Report out this morning that Chad Johnson broke the court order and contacted his soon to be ex-wife.

If there was any ever doubt Miami made the right call this is it. The guy is in a bad state right now between the ears. This is gonna cost him  bigtime.

Wow, I am surprised.  But if I was Chad I'd tell her to go F herself on the attorney's fees, since, after all, she's the one asking for the divorce.

Especially since they were married less than two months.

They don't screw around if you violate a restraining/no contact order.

I know and the fact his wife filed for divorce so quick makes me think her frame of mind is she is very pissed and ain't messing around. So if Chad violates something I have no doubt she will have him put in jail.
