From the Miami Herald: On CBS Sports Network's new weekly NFL quarterback roundtable show, Dan Marino made clear he has seen enough of Ryan Tannehill to conclude "they can build around this kid. He's a tall guy, he can run. He can move in the pocket. I like what they're doing with him early, where they're moving him out of the pocket some. I like the fact, too, there were a couple times he changed the play at the line of scrimmage late in the game. He took some shots down the field, so he's not afraid to make a change at the line."

He had a lot of good things to say about him yesterday on the Joe Rose show. For anyone that gets a chance to listen ... Dan Marino is on every Monday morning for an hour. It's always cool to hear Dan's local take. I love iheart radio!!

They archive it on WQAM.com too if you can't listen live.

When Dan goes out of his way to say nice things about the Fins or a player on the team he means it. Because he will never say anything bad, he will just say some vague answer and switch the topic quick. So the fact he is positive and expressing it means he believes it. If you listen to him on WQAM it is clear.  He never says anything bad about the Fins when times are rough,  he just keeps it bland

I would still like to see Dan play some sort of role in the FO. He was hired a few years ago, but changed his mind. Was that the Saban error, Cam error, or Parcells error?

Wayne error. Wayne Huzienga wanted Dan to kiss baby's and shake hands. Dan wanted to make draft picks and hire coaches.

Thanks, I always wandered what happened. I think Dan is better off doing the CBS Pre-game show than subjecting himself to the crap that comes with the FO job. lol
