So...episode 3 is coming up.  Whatcha' think so far?

I'm loving Carl, actually, this season.  I'd still beat my kid silly if they wander off unannounced during the apocalypse, but that's beside the point.  Carl has been growing up in this new world and seems to be getting the hang of it.  You'll notice in episode 1 he was quite willing to crack open some dog food for a snack.  Episode 2 comes along and now instead of screwing around in the woods, he's scrounging for much needed medical supplies and offing walkers like it's no big deal.

I'm happy that Herschel got bit, and the amputation was most brutal.  I loved it...and loved the prison audience's reaction.  The tension when Laurie was giving mouth to mouth to the potential walker Herschel was palpable.  There's no way in hell I'd put my mouth on anybody who could turn zombie and bite my lips off.

I'm also digging that Rick seems to be finally getting it.  People are the real danger, the walkers are just a (deadly) nuisance.
And T-Dog appears to be more than just a token character so far this season!  (so far anyway, I probably shouldn't get my hopes up)

Outside of the Dolphin game, there's nothing more I'd rather be watching on a Sunday right now.

Agree with all of the above...and thought it was hilarious that the Talking Dead show used the hashtag #oneleggedherschel.

Glad Rick took care of that one psycho prisoner in short order...

BRING ON THE GOVERNOR!!

The machete to the prisoner's head was pretty epic.  He knew it needed to be done, and he did it.  I wasn't sure if he had the stones.

I'm enjoying Rick blowing off Laurie on the relationship front.  It's like he's saying, "lady, we've all got bigger problems right now."

They are certainly making up for the lack of zombie killing in some of the season 1 and 2 episodes.

The first two shows were fantastic and I can't wait to see what happens when Merle is back in the mix.

I love the Walking Dead....season 3 has been good so far. Can't wait to see what happens the rest of the season.

Sunday nights are just jammed up on the DVR: Walking Dead, Dexter, Amazing Race, Homeland and SNF

Any chance Daryl takes up for T-Dogg? Figuring where Daryl lands on this is going to be a crazy sidebar to the season.
