Russel Wilson is a baller!  That's why Flynn isn't playing...

Im not saying some of those teams WILL trade for him, I am saying Moore and his ability would be an upgrade over those current QB's. That's what I am saying. Moore can start in this league. He won't lead you anywhere but he can start for some bad teams

Having 2 competent QBs is a good thing to have. If we get rid of Moore, who you gonna get as 2nd and 3rd QBs. I simply don't think we can trust Devlin at this point.

Couldn't have said it better. The man didn't sulk when he lost the starting job. He kept himself game ready. No way do I trade that.

You don't trade away your back up QB.  And if you think Devlin can do the job, I ask you -- why didn't he play today?

Isn't the point moot?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the trade deadline up at week 8?  We're in week 8 now...or do we get until the end of the Monday night game?

Regardless, keep Matt Moore.  He's needed more in Miami now than a 6th or 7th rounder for next year.

Once more for emphasis:

Matt Moore will almost certainly be GONE at the end of this season when his contract expires.  If you can sign him to an extension now, by all means, do it!  But if you can't, I'd happily take a 3rd round pick for half-a-season of a backup QB.

The trade deadline is October 30.

Could not agree more. I was in no way advocating trading him. Would love to keep him. Like you said, make him an offer and go from there.

The problem is no team wants to give up a high pick for 1/2 a season. They will face the same situation as we are.

Still I think Matt wants to go somewhere and be a starter and that is not Miami.
