Looks like Dion Jordan and Dallas Thomas will be limited or sidelined due to shoulder surgery.

I'm kinda worried about the Jordan deal. He played standing up at Oregon and more they want him to play with his hand on the ground.  As the number 3 overall pick, he needs to produce right away.

Don't worry about Jordan.  He will be just fine.

I thoughy Jordan can't participate because of the longer school semester in Oregon? Hartline came to us with the same issue.

According to this pre-draft article, Jordan may not be able to participate in drills anyway if he's on the PUP list.

They spent the third overall pick on a guy who may start the season on the PUP list??  And you wonder why people want Jeff Ireland gone.

No. From that same article...

"Both players, however, are expected to be ready well before the regular season begins, the sources said."

They may not be ready for the start of OTA's or possibly even training camp, but Jordan can't participate in anything (except the 3 day rookie camp) until Oregon's classes are finished which is June anyway. He's expected to be ready by the start of pre-season is my understanding and definately by the start of the season.

He is  a year away from being an every down force anyway. Will take a year in an NFL weight program and weight room to get him where he needs to be. JPP was the same way when the Giants took him. It's worth the wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miami isn't winning the Super Bowl this year anyway so, we can wait!

Jordan can do stuff this weekend but can't return to the Fins facility till the 1st day of training camp (unless he has already graduated which I don't believe he graduated early).

Kaddu was in the same boat last year

PRESEASON PUP list...jees, settle down! It's not the regular PUP list. You can be put on and taken off the PRESEASON PUP list as many times as ya want. Means nothing. And since Jordan CAN'T participate in anything till training camp anyway, it really doesn't matter!
