4 UFDA WR's already signed now, Dolphins keeping busy after the draft. Overall I'm pleased with the draft itself. This team is definitely going to be faster on both sides of the ball. I also like the signing of the best kicker in the SEC. Carpenter pissed me off one too many times already.

I can certainly see Jordan developing into one of those all-around talented players who can perform not only the primary tasks of a 4-3 DE...

1) Attack the QB on passing plays
2) Set the edge on running plays

but also be versatile enough that, in certain defensive packages, he can drop back into short coverage. Jason Taylor certainly did it from time to time, and it's definitely a role where Jordan's height and arm length could make him very effective.

We'll have to wait and see how this coaching staff uses Dion, but with the physical gifts he has, the coaches should have plenty of options.

Gillislee is first selection from my parts of town since Sammy Smith ... well other than free agents Culpepper and Brandon Marshall. Let's hope he has a little more success than Sammy did.

I was totally stoked with this pick. Definitely didn't see it coming...JI had a good poker face...the mock drafts were all wrong. This cat is most certainly a "hybrid". JI mentioned in a presser that he can foresee Dion developing into an every down player for this team. I don't doubt that one bit.

Culpepper and Marshall were both trades, not FAs.

I'll let everyone know if this was a good draft or not in about 3 years.   Grin

After the Fins sign their draft picks and if they don't make any more additions at this point the Fins will have $13.7 mill left in cap space according to NFL Radio
