Vaughn Martin is done for the year. With Soliai out Miami is thin at defensive tackle. They did sign Marvin Austin but he is just a warm body who plays DT and not someone who i expect to contribute much

He was a 2nd round pick of the Giants a few years back. Went to college at North Carolina. Got hurt as a rookie, never played. Saw almost no action last year.

That's it!!!  I remember he was a star defensive tackle at UNC who got stripped of his eligibility because of the academic fraud and the Butch Davis fiasco.  Let's hope he can resurrect his career in Miami.  If he can become the player he was in college, the Dolphins won't need to re-sign Starks/Solai

He's a warm body who will probably be cut once Soliai is back and playing. Don't get excited

That's a talented warm body.  Seeing as he's taking Vaughn Martin's spot, I doubt he gets cut.  But he probably won't see much action one Solai returns

If he's so talented how come the Giants bailed on him after 2 years and he was out of work as of the other day? Once again I think he will be gone when Soliai's back

^^^ Not that I disagree with you at all but I bet someone said the exact same things about Wes Welker.

Wes Welkers don't come around that often.  Just like Tom Brady's doesn't mean that you should wait until the 6th round to draft a QB.

Also there is a difference between WW and Marvin Austin, WW wasn't drafted, MA was a 2nd round pick.

Typically UDFAs have a very very small window to prove they warrant making the team.  The Chargers gave WW the 1 training camp and cut him after week 1.  And they offered him a spot on the practice squad so it wasn't like they didn't see anything in him.

MA was given one full year and one year on IR by the Giants.  And all the chances typically afforded someone the team invested a 2nd round pick in.  And didn't want him for the PS.
