I'm as upset as anyone about our losses especially yesterday!   But, I'm not jumping or throwing myself of the Tanny Boy bandwagon. The effort Tanny gave just to get that Hail Mary throw off was incredible!  He avoided being sacked twice on that play and got it to the end zone. Problem is... only one of his targets made it to the end zone! Charles Clay was in the end zone with three Bills defenders Brandon Gibson apparently thought Tanny was sacked and quit on the route while Wallace was working back to the QB.   Had Gibson actually been in the end zone that may have been a legitimate shot at a score... but since he was late arriving all he could do was bat at the ball.

philbin has got to go.   Also someone should make him start Moore, who at this point is the better QB.  Tanny has hit his ceiling.  Ross needs to call cowherd tomorrow and give him a blank check

Oh no, not this, not now.  The old "Let's fire everyone and start all over again" dance, after only 22 games for both of them.  You expect instant improvement overnight?  I will never get it.

You win some, you lose some.  Teams that fire everyone after every loss will never be successful.  Ever.

I have to disagree Tony. Moore has absolutely hit his ceiling. I think Tanneyhill still has plenty of growth potential.

Of course, this whole Moore vs Tannhill debate is silly. Most 2nd year QB's have a TON of growth potential. He isn't even 8 games into his second season. How many 2nd year QB's (or rookie QB's) have won the Super Bowl? Any? I can't think of any!!

The Matt Moore people.....jesus christ really? Still? The guy has sucked everywhere he has been.

The secret is to draft your QB in the sixth round.

Brady was drafted in 2000 and won the Superbowl in 2001. He had 15 regular season starts.

Roethlisberger also won it in his second year (drafted in 2007, won 2008).

While I don't agree that Moore should be playing instead of Tannehill, through 22 starts, their numbers aren't that disimilar. Moore had 26 TDs/17 INTs 9-13 record, 3 game-winning 4th qtr drives.  RT is at 21 TDs/20 TDs and a 10-12 record with 2 4th qtr come from behind drives.  It's not like RT is lighting up the stat sheet or distancing himself from Moore's numbers. Not sure how you can make the claim that Moore has sucked so badly, when he's basically not shown much difference in wins or stats than RT. There is a lot of room for growth with RT, absolutely. The problem is he hasn't shown much growth. The list of things I mentioned he was going to have a problem with coming out of college- too many turnovers, too many tipped balls, poor decision making in general, and standing in the pocket like the Statue of Liberty- he's still doing. -EK

On his 22nd start, Moore was a 5th-year veteran.  Try again.

My discussion with Moore was not what year he was in. It was a simply to point out that though equal number of starts, he didn't look any worse than Tannehill.

Edit- and he was in his fourth year, not fifth. Try again. -EK

OK, Tom Brady. Maybe the greatest QB of all time to play the game (or Top 5 at worse). He's the ONLY one. So its safe to say Brady is the exception and not the norm. And holding any other QB to that standard is unfair.

My point was proven!

What about Big Ben.  He isn't going to make anyone's top 10 of all time.

This is why you aren't taken seriously on this board. If you think RT hasn't shown  much growth you are lying to yourself or have no knowledge of football. He has improved since his rookie year and to say otherwise is just an incorrect statement or you trolling. Once again, Miami's offensive unit last year and this year isn't exactly a who's-who of talent. Not to say he is free of all blame, yes he is a 2nd year QB who makes some mistakes. But he has improved and to say he hasn't had any growth is beyond silly. And its just not true.  And the tipped balls isn't an issue this year at all, just untrue. And the Statue of Liberty comment makes no sense in all honesty...just so ya know!

Matt Moore sucks because he has failed at every stop he has been in. The day Moore

Yeah forgot to address that. He is the 2nd one. In the history of the NFL there are 2 players ever. Proving my point essentially that its pretty rare for a 2nd year QB to win a Super Bowl.  Extremely rare

Then that's a rather silly discussion to have.

By his 22nd start, Matt Moore had FIVE seasons to absorb and study the game.  He had the benefit of five seasons of coaching and five offseason programs.

It is ridiculous to compare that to a second-year player.

2007-08, CAR- 9 games, 3 starts
2008-09, CAR- 0 games, 0 starts (but he was still on the roster)
2009-10, CAR- 7 games, 5 starts
2010-11, CAR- 6 games, 5 starts
2011-12, MIA- 13 games, 12 starts

His 22nd start came in his fifth season in the NFL.
