I have no idea, but at this point I doubt he will be charged.

I think that his decision to not talk with police is probably a smart one.  You don't talk yourself out of legal situations....ever.  If they don't have the evidence to convict you, this will go away.  Talking to police without being charged will likely just complicate things and invite incriminating yourself.  ...especially any kind of questioning where your attorney isn't there.  Just release info through your legal counsel and let the system play out.

This has been going on for a while and gone nowhere. I doubt he will be charged but have no idea about innocence or guilt.

What I can't get past is the rape kit and the matching DNA.  The rape kit had to show no signs of force because if it did, he would've been charged already.
