I honestly can't believe it's the first week of October and I'm saying this but please help me feel a little better and give me reason to look forward to next year. I don't see any Jadeveon Clowneys or Andrew Lucks in college this year so who do we have to look forward to with our top three pick?

I realize we need some studs pretty much everywhere so it really doesn't matter offensive line, defensive line, line backer or even defensive back. Who are some people I need to start paying attention to?

I guess on the bright side tickets to our nice stadium just became a lot less expensive for the remainder of the season.  Undecided

DE Joey Bosa  Ohio St (yes his father is a former Dolphins player)
OT Laremy Tunsil Ole Miss
OT Ronnie Stanley Notre Dame
OT Taylor Decker Ohio St
LB Jaylon Smith Notre Dame

Not including the QB's cause clearly Miami won't take one at the top of the draft. Those are the elite players at the need positions

The only one I know anything about is Bosa but I was wondering if he really is as good as advertised. I know he got in to some trouble and got suspended but I don't think this team can pass up talent based on one incident. The other issue I have is we tend to pick local guys and they fail. It would be great to have one blow up on the team!

I completely agree with what you said about QB. Unless Dan Marino was coming out there wouldn't be any reason to even look at them right now. QB is way down our list of needs.

That and its not even possible considering they just gave Tannehill $96 mill or whatever the final number was. Plus he is playing well and clearly NOT the problem with this team. Give him some protection with Stills, Parker, Landry and the passing game is fine.

Problem is the o-line is so bad the Fins can't run at all and don't even bother trying and they can't give Tannehill any time to do anything down the field. Tannehill might die on the field this year...lol. Kid is getting abused.

If I were Miami I would find a Left Tackle at the top of the draft. Cut Albert get out from that contract and then go sign a vet guard (I have only been pounding the table for it for 3 years now) in free agency. Not a big ticket guy, just an experienced guy who knows what the heck he is doing.

O-line is a bigger need than D-line. Cause next year you got Suh and Jordan Phillips at DT...I'm thinking they will resign OV and (don't cringe now) you have Dion Jordan back. Granted not a great unit but its passable for a season if need be. Can't fix this entire roster in one offseason so I would start with the o-line just so you don't kill your QB you just gave big bucks too and I think a lot of the defensive problems can be fixed with coaching not really new players

^Do you think Dion Jordan is still salvageable, or should we just cut ties with the guy?

I think that's anyone's guess. His body should be in great shape as he hasn't really played much ... and now has had a year off. He could come out like gang busters or flop.

Wouldn't bank on him, he can't be trusted or depended. If we cut ties I have no problem. If its a new coach and new people in charge they might give him a shot and use him correclty

I would love to see him play one game as a starter and not a situational guy, just to see why we drafted him.  That's what is so frustrating, he kept fucking up over and over and we never got a chance to see what he actually has.

He might be a lost cause at this point. The reason you want to keep him is because he has the size and speed to keep up with Gronk. And the couple times he played vs NE he did well covering Gronk, but I wouldn't hold my breath for Dion Jordan at this point.  Only hope is the right coach and screw his head on straight and get through his thick skull.

That's definitely cherry picking the top of Kiper's list...though I actually really do like Jaylon Smith and Laremy Tunsil. I think the LB class this year is much better than last year, and I think we can potentially get a solid ILB (like Oklahoma's Dominique Alexander or Missouri's Kentrell Brothers in the 3rd round. OG seems a little thin...looks like there are two quality OGs at the top, and then a legitimate gap. Adding UNC's Landon Turner or LSU's Vadal Alexander would definitely help.

I have no idea who on top of Kiper's list, those were the guys literally off the top of my head that I know of at those positions. I haven't even looked at Kiper's stuff yet. I know most people consider Bosa #1 overall in general so if Kiper has him there its not shocking, after that I listed guys in no special order
