You lost me. Did this have something to do with what we were talking about?

THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

Good point, I deleted it.

I'm really curious about my other point.

Let's say Tebow does make the Eagles.  Would his one year salary pay him more than how much he would make as an ESPN analyst

Probably,  but I doubt that's relevant.   He wants to play football.

he wasn't working for ESPN.  He was working for SEC Network.

I'd bet that he is making more at the league minimum than he was as a color commentator on SEC Network.

Side Note: I was flipping through channels one Saturday a while back and settled on a college football game on SEC Network.  Forget who was playing but its irrelevant.  There were 3 announcers: the play by play guy, a consummate professional; the color commentator, also a pro, made great points; and another color commentator, a guy you could tell was a former player.  Immediately I recognized the "former player" guy was a total idiot who just liked to hear himself talk and wanted to show off his football knowledge by spewing random football terms that average Joe doesn't understand.

Later, I found out that former player guy was Tim Tebow, and it all made perfect sense.

He was working for ESPN. They own the SEC Network so they used him there also. Why wouldn't they? They had Tebow and they have an SEC network.
