I'm going to copy/paste a comment on reddit that sums up how I feel perfectly:

"we have an ungodly amount of draft picks I don’t think a couple of draft spots is gonna fuck over the franchise for half a decade but whatever makes you all happy. Have fun digging the sticks out of your asses while I enjoy a win"

All I can say from the stats of that game is that instead of picking a QB, they should pick some players that can play defense.

Having the one or two pick just gives you the best chance to landing a stud. We can do it later but to most people the top two are the most guaranteed by far to have a successful NFL career. I think when you add in the fact that we have not drafted well and have given away the great draft picks that were "dropped" (not by anything we did) into our laps  ...  just causes concern.

The biggest problem with our draft is we do not take the gimme picks. We try to outsmart and then we reach and ultimately fail more times than not

Pretty much, we don't have the best draft history so we need to make it as idiot proof as possible. I'm hoping that changes this year with the front office turnover but you never know.

take a page from the miami heat #culture, play to win .. play to win every game, be professional, be consistent, have continuity. Don't change coaches every 3 years. If players aren't professional, trade them away and get people that fit with the #culture. Whether we pick 1 or 2 or 8, who cares, make the most of that pick and move on.
This was my position until the front office started tanking.

I stand by my position that it is better to be competitive and and to continue to play each meaningless game like it is a playoff game than drafting a few spots earlier.

Um, your forgetting that without Fitz, Parker and Gesicki are NOT having the year they are having. Parker probably isn't offered a new deal and Gesicki is a bust. On top of that Miami is probably 1-15 and no one in the NFL would be wanting to play for Miami. The way it is now Fitz will start next year no matter who they take in the draft and Miami will be competitive, Parker and Gesicki will have another year under their belt and will be ready to play for a young QB and a lot of people will be WANTING to play for Miami. Your logic is deeply flawed. Miami is MUCH better off today the way things turned out then if we would have lost 15 games. Without a doubt. For the first time all year I'm actually positive about next year.

YES!  Aldo, people must realize part of the reason Minkah wanted out was because Miami traded away Tunsel and got rid of other talent.  I think Minkah might have stayed if he knew how "well" the team actually was going to do with the personnel they had.
