Week 4 (Oct 3, 1pm) - Indianapolis Colts (-1.5) at Miami Dolphins

Week 10 (TNF Nov 11, 8:20pm) - Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Miami Dolphins

Week 11 (Nov 21, 1pm) - Miami Dolphins (-3) at New York Jets

Week 12 (Nov 28, 1pm) - Carolina Panthers at Miami Dolphins (-4.5)

Week 13 (Dec 5, 1pm) - New York Giants at Miami Dolphins (-3.5)

Week 14 - BYE

Week 15 (Dec 18/19) - New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (-6.5)

Week 16 (MNF Dec 27, 8:15pm) - Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints (-3.5)

Week 17 (Jan 2, 1pm) - Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans (-3)

Week 18 (Jan 9, 1pm) - New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins (-2.5)

Vegas must think we are going 8-9 with these odds and that none of our draft picks will contribute positively. Only favored by 1.5 against the Jaguars? The Carson Wentz Colts favored against us at our stadium?

I don't know what any of that means. I assume that 2.5 is better for the Dolphins than 7.5? What does PK mean for the Raiders game?

Pick Em. It's a toss up, even odds.

These look about right to me.

Even a game like the Raiders, where we'll be the better team...it's hard to travel east to west like that and play a body-clock game on the road.
We are going to have to over-deliver to make the playoffs this year.

I wouldn't put much stock in point spreads that are established in May.  3 months before even the first pre season game is played, a point spread is pretty much a wild ass guess to entertain us football starved fans who are looking for anything football related to talk about.

I'm not putting much stock into these because it is May, but we had 10 wins last year and the Jets had 2 and we mopped the floor with them. We are only favored by 3 against them in NY? To me, that shows that they think the Jets will be improved while we won't. Otherwise, it's just numbers thrown out there for no reason.

A home game usually nets you 3 points, so they're saying that on a neutral field, we'd be favored by about 5.5.    That seems pretty legit to me.  Also, you can assume improvement for the worst teams at a higher rate and confidence that teams at the middle.

Also, there's a possibility we can get worse and there isn't really that possibility for the Jets.

Ya'll these are Vegas odds. They have NOTHING to do with who they think will win, they have EVERYTHING to do with who they think will be bet on to win. That's what matters to Vegas. Not who actually wins the game.
