THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: December 30, 2022, 06:39:03 pm »

Started off horribly, with Miami being eliminated on New Year's Day or the day after it.

Looked like it was going to continue to go badly, as the Rams tried their hardest to give Tampa Bay a playoff victory.  However, Matthew Stafford saved the day.

Professionally, it was great.  I am still doing wonderful at both my jobs.  I decided to start taking one day off per week, starting in the fall.  I want to keep that up in 2023.

I am going to be living in an apartment for the first time in 2023, which is both exciting and terrifying.

I got Covid for the first time in 2022.  Luckily, I recovered quickly.

I took a break from the dating scene for this year, to focus on other things.  I did a lot of new events.  These included a staircase run for charity, a Wason Pond Pounder, and a Rugged Maniac.  I don't know when I'll start dating again.

I started playing chess regularly again.

I rejoined TikTok and started posting regularly on Instagram

I got my first credit card

I bought some stocks.

I set a goal to watch a lot of movies.  So I did that.  It's an enormous list, so I'll make a new thread for that.

We continued to make progress on the house.

My job is organized in a way that it's not oppressive.  It's flexible and I can perform a lot of it from my house.  Sometimes I'm needed in the office, but so long as I stay on top of things and don't let things pile up, it's very manageable and not causing me a ton of stress.

I started 2022 thinking that I was on the final leg of my life, health-wise. Turns out that there is another chapter... My health improved (still working on t), I moved back to my hometown (Prescott, AZ), reconnected with family, and stopped worrying so much about politics and shit outside my sphere of influence

2023... I hope to be focused on the prosperity aspects of my life.

It started off good the first two months, but then just continually went downhill.  Probably my worst year I can ever remember.  Hoping things can turn around and improve in 2023.
