He went down with a knee injury at the end of practice. Going to be out 6-8 weeks.

They are repairing his meniscus. Hopefully he will be back in October but he's going to miss at least a few games.

Most recent thing I read said that it could be a full repair and he might not be back until December. And it won't be determined until they get in there during surgery.

I saw that too but still hoping he is back in 10 weeks. I had my meniscus repaired and it wasn't too bad but I'm not a world class athlete making cuts at top speeds.

Yeah, but just because you're back on the field at a certain point doesn't mean that you're going to be up to speed at that point. I could be wrong, but I think the Bills had a safety come back from a knee injury last year and he wasn't the same.

It could be sooner but these things are very tricky. Has to be 100% or he is no good to us. Should be at least 4 games missed with the best case scenario. Just gotta pray we don't have to use our 8th string secondary again next year.
