SF proper is basically between 55 and 75 year-round.  (note: the 49ers play in Santa Clara, which is legitimately hot)

But the real substance of the "can't play in the cold" criticism is not about the Dolphins playing in cool weather, right?  Nobody cares if MIA wins a 48 degree game at MetLife or a 53 degree game in Maryland.  We're really talking about sub-40 degree games, and Joe Montana was not playing sub-40 degree home games in SF.

If Miami was in the AFC South where we geographically belong I guarantee we’d have more playoff wins

Yes, because the Dolphins would have more division titles (e.g. 2016 and 2023), and every team plays better at home than on the road.

It's tough to win playoff games on the road!  BAL has won one road playoff game in the last decade.  Josh Allen has yet to win a road playoff game in his career!

Is 84 the last time Miami was 1 seed?
