THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

Jonnu Smith.

I would give it to Jason Sanders, but that miss against the Colts was HUGE.

I think on defense Calais Campbell and Seiler both had good seasons.

Sanders had a very good kicking year.

On offense Jonnu Smith and Washington really showed up in the receiving game as young players.

But overall Achane would get the Game Ball for 2024, he always put forth 100% effort.

The 2024 Game Ball for me goes to De’Von Achane.

There's been a few times this season he was the offense, the only good thing going for it. He had the most game balls from me during the season, and on the basis of impact throughout the season, he's been my pick for a long time.

Honorable mentions to Sieler and Calais Campbell, also Jonnu Smith for his second half of the season. It was also great to see Chop Robinson have a significant impact at the end of the season (coincidentally after I questioned if he was a bust - luckily it looks like he may be well worth the first round pick), as well as Malik Washington.

My 2024 game ball is going to Calais Campbell.

Sieler and Achane had the years I expected them to have: very good.  I think Jonnu and Campbell outplayed their expectations the most, and of the two, Campbell doing it at age 38 is more impressive to me.  So he gets my vote.

Funny thing about Sieler is before this year people liked to say it was only because of Wilkens. This year Sieler took on 2 blockers many times and still produced.

I think Jonnu should get it because he broke every TE franchise record. He can't run block for crap but is great at moving the ball.

Jonnu seems to make the most sense.  I think that this is especially true because of the increase in production after we got rid of a higher profile guy, arguably.

HM to Achane, who has just been a really good player, in general.
