Matters a lot. If he can't pass a physical he doesn't have much trade value.
Passing a physical with another team shouldn't be a problem, so it really won't effect his trade value (which is not going to be huge anyway because of his age and the size of his contract - thanks again Grier). Who ever wants him is based on what he did in 2023 and the chance of him repeating that. Tyreek's biggest problem is in between the ears, and if he can't get that right it will be another expensive wasted year on our list.
If he chooses to miss any of preseason (like he did last preseason holding out for Tua to be paid, followed by himself) it's likely to lead to the same mistakes he made that hurt us last year. Too many illegal procedure, false start, technical penalties. Not enough effort when it was really needed from him. There's no excuse for this. Sure, he's recovering from wrist surgery, but he can still run, he practice all the running routes and timing to get it all right, attend all the meetings (on time), etc.
He talks up being a leader, but without the actions to match it up it's just BS. If there's no sign of change this preseason, we're better off shipping his ass. Regardless of what we get for him.
