Not real sure where to put this...but it looks like the Dolphins have already missed out on a guy that some of wanted.....

From the miami herald....
BENTLEY UNLIKELY
Even if there is an extension of the CBA and the salary cap within it, highly regarded free agent center LeCharles Bentley is expected to sign with Philadelphia on Monday when the free agent signing period begins.
The Dolphins had expressed interest in Bentley, but only if they had enough cap room.

I read a story this morning thru a link on Finheaven that Bentley denied this rumor.

He did.  My question is.  FA has not started, so how have Bentley & Philly been talking without it being tampering?

Its the same situation as the story last week about Kelly Campbell ready to sign with us as soon as FA begins.

Different situation.  Campbell is not in the NFL right now.  He is a street FA that Miami can sign at any point.

The reason Miami cannot sign him is cap related.
