While SD "still" remains one of four major league franchises without a no-hitter (despite Chris Young's multiple teases), our AAA franchise, the Portland Beavers, had three pitchers combine to throw a perfect game against Oakland's PCL affiliate, the Sacramento Rivercats. Ryan Meaux, Aquilino Lopez and Cla Meredith give the Beavers only the 7th perfect game in the 104 year history of the PCL. More importantly, it kept the mighty-mighty Beavers over the .500 mark and within striking distance of Salt Lake in the pac-north division.

GO YOU BEAVERS!!

The misleading funky titles are usually Philly's domain, but when dealing with a topic that involves beavers and perfection, how could I possibly play that one straight? Wink
