When Will Poole stepped on the field for the first time this year, the Miami Dolphins cornerback figured his game would simply pick up where it left off.

Before the two surgeries to repair his left knee.

"First time -- I was just happy to be back," Poole said recently. "I felt that I'd be back into the form that I was previously, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

"I was a little off-balance a little bit, I was a little nervous a little bit, but after a couple of days all that left. Now I'm just going out there full speed."

Hopefully he will soon be able to get back to where he was before his injury! If not for his sake than that of Philly.  Philly has been high on this kid for a while!  Wink

I'm excited that Will Poole is on his way back, it was tough seeing him go down like that before last season.  Also, keep your eyes peeled for the other injured DB on our squad last year, Shirdonya Mitchell.  Mitchell was an undrafted free agent due to his ACL tear before the 2005 draft.  When it came time to cut undrafted free agents loose last season, Coach Saban decided to keep him.  There must be something he knows that we don't.  So, I'll be watching Mitchell just as hard as Poole.

Apparently Mitchell had a stellar career at Mizzou...... he simply tore his ACL while working out on the school's Pro Day
