That's funny... When I saw that karma feature the first time, I told myself I will NOT start bad-karma'ing folks up here. I know a few of my regular combatabts would probably bad karma me en masse, so wanted to take the high road.

I think it would have been OK to keep the Applause part of it...(It might be away to Stop Good point" I totally agree posts....but I think the "Smite Button " would have been abused IMO...

I would like a Karma feature for individual posts, but I didn't like it for the user.  I think it didn't encourage people to contribute, and would cause bad blood and groupthink.
