Umm...you were in the army.  What was your boot camp 2 weeks longer?  But I'm sure it was harder because of all the reading right?  Wink

It was a lot different in 1988 when I went and the current kinder, but smarter boot camp. For the record when I reclassed to Blackhawk mechanic in 04 we had to use Air Force manuals for the engines.

And just how much more pissed off are Bears fans that they didn't draft Rashard Mendenhall?

Did you at least get your substandard housing pay for having to live in the barracks?

BUMP

This idiot got arrested again for DUI.  Apparently he can't stay away from the bottle.  He's gonna end up like Koren Robinson if he keeps it up.

If I'm not mistaken, driving a boat drunk will still net you a DUI

Yes. Even riding a bicycle drunk can net you a DUI.  What people don't grasp is even if you are innocent ......cooperate. You are innocent until proven guilty. You become a Jerk off you have just made it that much easier for the Police to prove and you to disapprove. Then when your drunk you usually don't make the best decisions....... Roll Eyes

Innocent until proven guilty is a joke.  If you are drunk, in MO at least, refuse the breath test and get your license suspended for a year.  Better than having a DUI on your record, just ask Leonard Little.

I don't know what it is with the Bears draft picks and aquisitions, especially on offense.

They haven't had a REAL franchise quarterback since Sid Luckman. Jim McMahon lived off of the Bears defense in 1985 which probably the third best single season defense in NFL History (Atlanta #1 in 1977 and the Steelers #1 in 1976)  and a Hall of Fame running back, Walter Payton.

And since Payton left, there have only been two backs that were "okay" but not overwhelming in their system and that was Neal Anderson and Anthony Thomas in his rookie year.

Defense, no problem. Offense...a different story. They draft bland quarterbacks and running backs that have potential but they don't turn out. How in the world do you let Thomas Jones go for this guy?

He's an injury waiting to happen and doesn't make the right decisions. he even got hurt in the Super Bowl. That should have sent a message to the Bears front office but it didn

Benson will now have his "bust" alongside other "busts" of running backs since Payton retired.

The Bears really puzzle me when it comes to improving the offensive side of the ball.
