Their suspensions will begin immediately and will last until they are reinstated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The suspended players are eligible to be signed by any club, but must be signed no later than 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday of any week and the signing club must make room on its 53-player Active List for at least one business day.

I don't think its the Tony Gonzalez you're thinking of, because it has him lsited as a WR and it says he's a free agent.

Nah...it's the Tony Gonzalez that the Falcons signed as an undrafted rook this offseason, mainly to be a "familiar WR face" for their new QB, Matt Ryan...who threw to Gonzalez for 3 years at Boston College. Tony Gonzalez was actually released by Atlanta about a month ago, so his suspension doesn't mean much.

oook. I figured Tight end /Wide Receiver was close enough. I was saying to myself......this guy is a free agent and no one has picked him up? WTF did he do?  Cheesy I'd like to think the Tuna would be all over the Chiefs Tony G.  Wink
