Did anybody else watch this game? I was disappointed at first when Kansas was up 20-3. However, when we rallied in the second half, Kansas was unable to stop these continuous scoring drives. Matt Grothe has surprised me so far and has shown that he could attack through the air. The only thing that concerns me is that when USF is put on the spotlight, the national attention seems to freeze them. Hopefully we can keep this up. FIU is next, LOL.

I watched it, just because I reeeeally love George Selvie. I'd pay full price just to watch that guy play...

Wow, just wow. Nice comeback.  I watched the first half and USF was completely flat.  They must've gotten an ass chewing in that locker room.

Get ready to beat me with the steel pipe of anti-hype, but I swear to you that every time I watch USF's George Selvie attack the QB, my mind automatically superimposes a Dolphins #99 jersey on him... Long, fluid, elite size-speed combo, and that "I'm gonna get you, you sonofabitch" ferociousness that we were blessed to see down here for the last 11 years.

I hope he ends up on the 49ers next season...but only because I already have uber-WR, Michael Crabtree earmarked for Miami. Grin

Sidenote... Thinking about a young 49ers LB duo of Patrick Willis and George Selvie is a sweet thought indeed.

I agree Storke. I even said last night to a friend who doesn't follow much other than the Dolphins or Hurricanes that he should look at Selvie last night. He reminds me so much of Taylor it is crazy.

I knew I wasn't crazy...and I haven't done any hallucinogens in a long time...hours even.

I think SF will be in a very good position to take Selvie, because I expect SF will be drafting around 8-10. Whether they look at OLB there or not I can't say at this point, but my squishiest of linebacker wet dreams still has a shot... Wink

I couldn't agree with you more about the similarities with #99...I would LOVE to see him in a phins jersey...I'd buy it right away...he'd be an awesome rush LB for us in our 3-4...I'd rather give up a 2nd rounder for a WR (Boldin?) and draft Selvie in the 1st round.

as for the game I was tailgating at 3pm and stayed until the end...freaking awesome game and environment....We were sitting next to two UF guys that kept talking shit about how much our team and fans sucked and they left by half time...haha fuckers missed a hell of a game....GO BULLS!

side note...i think USF wins the Big East this year.
