I am very tired of the NHL switching uniforms every 8 months. It's still hard for me to see the Rangers wear their blue uniforms at home, and they appeared to have dumped their awesome 3rd jersey with the liberty head.

The NHL is just poorly run.

Thank you! That jersey was prolly one of their best. And what they did to the Capitals' jersey is a travesty... Oh well.

It's called making money from fan revenue.Every time a team changes unis they know that the fans will just run out and buy one"wow,just gotta have that new jersey/hat /whatever with the "new" logo on it.The California/L.A./Los Angeles of Anaheim come to mind.The Dolphins altered their logo a few years back(not that much) but now they,like alot of of pro teams,can make money by selling "throwback" merchandise.It's all about the mighty buck.
