I don't know if anyone else has tried TeleNav but I have to say its works good.  The new phone I got came with it on my phone and it assume.  If there is traffic it will alert you and give you diffrent rout around the traffic.  I have a $2500. Alpine nav in my car that I got about 5 - 6 years ago and the telenav works better then the Alpine.

Try to see if there's a Google Maps version for your phone.  Its free and better IMO than TeleNav.  Plus isn't TeleNav a subscription service?
