Why do people take offence when asked who they Voted for?  I have been asking this question for weeks now and honestly I don't see why people take offence to this question.  Its not like I am asking how much money you make a year or if you like it Missionary or Doggy Style.  I asked the black guy that cuts my hair and he looked at me like I was racist and danced around the question. Other people have done the same. Has anyone else seen this?

I asked some lady today who she voted for and she said none of your business and then went on to say that she was kiddin.  She said she Voted for McCain because she came from a military family and I said I was in the military and I voted for Obama.  She goes on telling me that she didn't vote for Obama because she don't like Biden, and Biden is going to become president because Obama is going to get shot because he is black.  Then she goes on telling me that she loves Palin and she will become President after a year because McCain is going to die because he's old.
She then goes on telling me how great Palin is going to be as the President.

Because discussing religion or politics is like voluntarily stepping into a minefield.

Because people asking that question are either looking for a kindred spirit to hug, or an opponent to fight, and a lot of people just don't like being touched (figuratively, of course) by strangers.
