After that embarrassing loss to Mizzou and the investigation into the way he treated his players (which I guess was fine so long as they were winning), he was going to get fired anyway.

Apparently he let the wrong type of pasta slip into his mouth...every 15 minutes of his life.

On a side note...perhaps the coolest coach-related t-shirt in the history of t-shirts was worn by KU students to the games this season. It read

"Our coach can eat your coach"
