No idea.  Are there any teams in the NFL that are currently 0-3?

No but I'm just preparing for the Dolphins chances after this week's game.

I already posted that info in this link.

I know that no one wants to hear this but it is very possible and I don't mean this just because we looked like a JV team on Sunday. We still have Indy on MNF and then San Diego on the road.

History shows that it is almost impossible to make the playoffs if you lose the first 3 games. Since the playoffs were expanded to 12 teams in 1990, 211 teams have began their season 0-3 and only 3 of the 211 teams made the playoffs.  So, my question is this ... if we lose the first three games do they bring in Henne or does Sparano keep playing Penny to win a game first?

Edited to note that means we would only have a 1.4 % chance of making the playoffs.

So logically speaking ... if we go 0-3 the season is is just for fun!!

All the season are for fun.

But this is loser's logic.

Before 2008 no team ever went to the playoffs after going 1-15 the prior season.  But some team had to be the first.

When Dallas was looking at 0-2 in 1993, no team had ever rebouned from 0-2 to win the superbowl.  Should they have hung up the season at the point?

Odds are if the NFL last long enough there will be a year when an 0-3 team wins the superbowl.  And any 0-3 coach who doesn't believe his team will be the first, should be fired on the spot.

The answer is 0.  And no, I'm not folding the tent if they lose this Sunday.  I will say this though, if they lose, and I'm Bill Parcells/Jeff Ireland, the next day I'm working out every pizza guy who can run faster than a 4.5 for safety and every bartender and bouncer over 6'2 for linebacker.  And I'd do it in front of the whole fucking team.

This reminds me of that movie Invincible with Mark Wahlberg.  It is based on the life story of Vincent Papale.  For those of you who have not seen it, I highly recommend it.

If you think the problem is lack of effort that is a great idea.  Keeping in the pragmatic reality that the guy actually has to be a UDFA and not just some random guy off the street.

^^^^

The way we played defense against Indianapolis, I'd take Estelle Getty and Fran Drescher lining up at safety even if all they do is lay down and try to trip the guy ala Jason Sehorn.
