I've seen that 4 times and I still can't believe it.  Did he ever explain himself?

Their offensive line is taught to no move when the other team jumps offsides (other then the center snapping the ball). Apparently this guy saw something that really didn't happen.

Florida State O-Line coach Rick Trickett is a former Marine.  That said, he trains his linemen to be like Marines when the defender comes across.  The center snaps the ball and no one moves, making it an obvious offsides call and a free play for the QB.

Apparently this kid Sanders saw something that the rest of the linemen didn't.  Maybe the center missed the snap count.  Who knows?  Still, after a few seconds, you have to realize that the play is live and react accordingly.

I'll bet Sanders was sorry he was ever born after dealing with Coach Trickett the next day.

I think that was a beautifully profound three-point protest over Bowden's forced retirement...

I asked an FSU friend about this, after seeing it happen several times during the Florida game.  Noticing it, and the fact that the announcer's explanation didn't make sense, I called a buddy of mine, a big FSU fan.  My friend explained the reason, being that it's easier to call an offsides penalty in the line doesn't move at all, and that it's a discipline thing that FSU does all the time.  The fact that the National Broadcasters didn't know that meant that they didn't do their homework on FSU and watch other games to prepare.  Instead, they just slurped Tebow the whole time.

Trickett has done this with his teams for several years. The fact people are just now discussing it amazes me.
