Don't think Bryce Brown wasn't paid a handsome amount to attend UT. That will come out soon enough. Tenn will be on probation within the  next 3 years. Kiffin didn't want to compete with the big boys. All his talk was false bravado. He's lucky his dad's on his staff, that's why that punk can talk so much because Daddy can cash the checks.

The great boise st played... Fresno st, bowling green, Tulsa, hawaii, louisana tech, and Utah st...whew what juggernauts. The only legit team TCU played out of conference was Clemson. Texas played ok st on the road without Dez bryant. Don't talk to me about schedules. BTW..if Texas had lost to Nebraska Cincinatti wouldve played Bama. We all know what happened to them 51-24 whitewash against the gators. The fact is if boise st and TCU played in the SEC they would have 3 losses minimum. Those teams don't have the quality of depth the compete on an every week basis with the teams in the SEC.

As far as USC they may have a great tradition, but from 1979 to the time Pete Carroll got there they were irrelevant. Don James, bill mcartney owned the west coast. You can bag on the SEC all you want, but the fact is the SEC has won the last 4 BCS titles, the have the best coaches, a billion dollar television deal, and recruit the best. That's fact, deal with it. Kiffin is a chump who couldn't compete with the big dogs so he jumped ship. Coward!!

4 out of the 6 teams you named are conference opponents of Boise State.  Criticizing them for playing conference opponents would be like criticizing Florida for playing Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.

vs. Florida's mighty self-selected schedule of:

Charleston Southern

Florida State

Keep in mind that many BCS teams simply refuse to schedule a game against BSU.  And I'm not talking about a home-and-home; even when the stakes are one game at home against a visiting BSU, they take a pass.

Wow you have great reading comprehension. You seemed to miss the part where I said and showed that different conferences have all had their time at the top. Currently it is the SEC, but I remember many years ago when the talk was all about the BIG 8 and Big 10, and the only scary team out of the SEC was Bama.

Common belief to whom, you. I dare you to find me anyone in television or the print media who thought there was going to be a remacth. Like I said the bearcats whould've played bama for the title. As for schedules.. Troy almost beat LSU last season, and it's not our fault F$u sucks so bad. I didn't hear anybody complaining last season when the gators had Miami, Hawaii, and f$u were on the non -conference. Just to show you how much the AP poll thought of an ubdeafeated Boise st. They finished  behind a one loss gator team in the polls.

What does a 4 year old game have to do with what is happening now? BSU's program has grown and improved since then, has Georgia's?
Face it, your mighty conference is just as guilty as the rest of scheduling the weakest non conference games it can and goes out of its way to avoid a surprise loss that could affect the rankings because without a playoff if you lose one game your chances at a NC are fucked.
