I think that the Chargers were probably the most bland team in the playoffs, from a human interest perspective.  With them gone, you have 3 pretty good stories and one "meh" one.

Colts - Probably the weakest of the playoff stories.  Had they been undefeated, it would've been a huge story, but with their 2 losses, there's not that much to get excited about.  We've already seen Manning win one.  The coach is new, so there's something there, and there's the controversy about resting your starters.  Overall, pretty weak, as far as off-the-field stuff goes.

Jets - This is perhaps the greatest of the stories.  Rookie QB.  New coach, who's never at a loss for words.

Saints - The Katrina story + the fact the Saints have been a league laughing stock forever.

Vikings - Favre.  Even though most of us are sick of it, it's still a popular story -- the old guy coming back for one last go.

I think the Jets' story is long overdue for an unhappy ending...
