NFL | Pass to retire

Mon, 15 Feb 2010 15:04:26 -0800

Ian Rapoport, of the Boston Globe, reports free-agent FB Patrick Pass (Patriots) said he will be retiring from professional football

(I will be here all off-season to make lame puns with players names as they get cut or signed.)

I'm all for being aggressive in free agency, but really think we should Pass on this one...

I was all set to shut down Hoodie's little pun parade, but decided to give him a free Pass this time...

I think it would have been better worded as "BOSTON GLOBE: PATRIOTS ABANDONING PASS IN 2010" but the current wording got the job done.

Actually it is Pass that is abandoning the Patriots.
