But I can't think of anyone else.

When have we ever given the game ball for anything other than doing your job? Why do you feel anyone else does anything other than their job?

I looked up the stats on Carpenter, he is 18 for 20 on field goals for the year after only seven games, 30-35 field goals usually leads the league.  Has made three of four beyond 50 yds and six of seven beyond 40 yds, so it's not like he's making alot of little chip shots.  BTW, only eleven touchdowns in seven games.
