This kid we drafted is a killer.....literally!! Sounds like he has been through alot in his young life. Hopefully he kieeps his head on straight and has a chance to make it in the NFL

so wait, Brandon Marshall should be released because he was stabbed by his wife..but this dude killed someone, and he deserves a second chance?.... Huh

Second chance??  Dude, he was trying to protect his sister and her boyfriend pulled a gun on him Huh?...This was not some kid at a club acting gangster.   Did you read the guy who got shot URINATED ON HIS SISTER?Huh??  Are you fucking kidding me??  Sounds like the real mistake was leaving the scene, but people do panic at times.  Fact is, he faced two jurys and all but one juror decided that he was not guilty.    That means he spent two years in jail for a crime he did not commit.

I believe tubba's comments were more about MikeO's assessment of players, than it was about Wilson.  I thought about making a similar comment, but was just happy that MikeO was being positive.

Exactly. Some people flat out don't get it. Marshall abuses woman some 9 or 10 times, and people DEFEND that. This kid served his time, faced his jury, and paid his debt....and SOME people can't see the difference!!

There was no debt for him to pay.  The kid did NOTHING wrong.  So there is no need to "give him a second chance" seeing as he never used the first one.

The difference is this guy was charged and went to trial, twice. Marshall has had all charges dropped multiple times in different jurisdictions, in two different states. He has never faced a jury of his peers, but you have convicted him already.
The difference between you and I is that while I believe he has probably committed domestic violence, he is not guilty of anything until convicted in court.
Hopefully this stabbing is a wake up call to straighten out, but I doubt it.
