I might get used to the high snaps.  That was his modus operandi at Florida last season.

Henne was passable tonight.  I'd say it was a success.  NOW...time to build on it.

Reggie Bush seems like a good get in yardage leagues  Evil

o-line played better. Murtha stinks. If he is forced into any action this year due to injury we are screwed royally. Dude had 3 penalties alone in the 1st half.
Not many teams can survive losing an All-Pro player at a key position, so I think that's a risk that's always out there.

The Colts don't have a quality backup for Manning because if he goes down, their season is flushed anyway.

I promise some of you wouldn't know football between hey arnolds head and some real pigskin

Murtha was easily our most effective blocker. He's showing plenty of upside and flushed out carolina's pro bowl DE all day. Excellent blocking both on passing and rushing downs. Watch the replay if you have too the kid is a stud. Last year the FO had me scratching my head on why they picked him up but their vision is coming into fruition. He has a few penalties but all were mental errors and not "true" drive killers like a personal foul or the dreaded holding call. Great showing.

3 penalties in a quarter in a half for one guy....NOT GOOD! You can try and spin it anyway you want

why the hell is Murtha playing?  Did we lose Jake Long for the year because I couldn't find anything on PFW or ESPN about him being hurt.

I liked the playcalling a lot better last night but maybe that's just because it worked.  Reggie Bush played well.

I like that we threw deep a couple times in the first half even though doofus dropped one and henne missed a guy who was wide open on another.

I like that when Henne wasn't sure what to do with the ball, he took off with it on occasion.  There's nothing wrong with that.

Long is on PUP. If he isn't practicing after next weeks game, the Fins will keep him on PUP and he will miss the first 6 games of the year

Such a brash statement from someone who followed up with this

He has a few penalties but all were mental errors and not "true" drive killers like a personal foul or the dreaded holding call.

When he did have a holding penalty but that wasn't as bad as his illegal use of hands which did kill a drive.

I like your optimism.  It's a nice change from some of the posters that thrive on finding one or two mistakes, then beat it like a dead horse for months.

daniel thomas looks terrible

^^^ No argument on Thomas...he hasn't shown much at all so far this preseason.

Were you guys watching the same game as me?  I saw Thomas make a few nifty runs up the middle to move the chains.  12 carries for 52 yards overall.  That's 4.34 yards per carry.  Not bad for a power back.
