I was wondering what Marlin fans would think about this.

It was rumored last night that there was a trade in place, then he was released....
According to this tweet from MLB.coms Jesse Sanchez
he got traded for Osvaldo Martinez and a pitcher....

From what I read last night he was released from the Sox and not committed to any team.  The Marlins bit of it was pure speculation by ESPN.

While it might be speculation, Ozzie had one more year on his contract, and if the White Sox still hold his rights,so they are entitled to some type of compensation "if" or "when " he signs as a manager this year....

I think he's going to keep the Marlins in the news, but not for how well the team is playing...

I don't understand that.  If they "release" him don't they forfeit the rights to him?

Sound like a sexy hire, but i wont care if the marlins wear those hideous uniforms next season if they change the logo

Management is not the problem.  Joe Girardi, Fredi Gonzalez, and Jack McKeon are as good as they come.

Good hire.  Fits the image that they're looking for.  Should be interesting and make the Marlins relevent, if only for this show.

Poor Dolphins.  They need to do something big to get noticed.
