On a side note....Mark Duper offered to help some WR's last year and the WR's turned him down. I think it was Bess and Hartline. They didn't want to be hanging around a former drug addict. I didn't blame them then and I see their point of view just fine. And I wouldn't blame Sparano for turning down Shula. Shula is an old man who has been out of the game for 15+ years, he has nothing to offer. Today's NFL has changed so much since he was last in it.

You say we should pay Marino to come help Henne for a few hours. Why stop at Dan? If your logic is to bring an all time great to help our QB, why not pay a few all time greats to work with Chad? IT'S THE SAME THING!!!! Who cares if they are former Fins or not. What does that have to do with anything? Most of our position coaches who were former NFL players never played for the Fins. It's all about helping the current player get better at the end of the day right?

The whole notion and premise is just downright silly. Henne can play or he can (thus far he can't) hanging around Dan for a few hours ain't gonna rub Dan's greatness off on him and Dan ain't gonna tell Chad some super secret that nobody else has told him about being an NFL QB. Henne had Pennington for 3 years by his side, if he couldn't learn from probably "the smartest NFL QB" (not the best but the smartest) then nobody will help all that much
