I'm getting really excited thinking about having Joe Philbin and Mike Sherman running the offense next year.

The staff is a good mix of veteran NFL coaches who have been given their first break in many years to move up the ladder and young, hungry coaches from college who are getting their feet wet in the NFL. With Mike Sherman thrown in as the guy who has seen everything and done everything in the NFL and College to help Philbin in his new position leading an NFL franchise. I like the mix a lot as well.

But at the end of the day everything hinges on the QB. If Miami is forced to start Matt Moore its another 6-7 win season as that is his ceiling and a 3rd place at best finish in the AFC East. If they can get a somewhat healthy Manning or Matt Flynn then this is a team that will fight for a playoff spot.

I also love the mix of youth and experience and believe the current staff is far more competent than the crap they put out on the sideline last year.

I give Moore a little more credit than most on these forums. I thought he did a great job for the situation he was thrown into. I don't see him as a starter next year, but even if he was, I see no less than a 10-6 record.

We should win most of the games with the NFC West, own the Bills, split with the jests and patsies.
