TS's knowldge of the Dolphins is going to be of little benfit to the Jets as the new coach is going to bring in a new offense and defense.

However, the Dolphin's right now have a copy of the Jets offensive playbook or if they don't Joe Philbin just needs to ask Matt Moore for his copy.

You're thoughts.....

Tony Sparano has never been an offensive coordinator in his life and had 2 different guys call plays in Miami during his time here. What is Sparano's offensive style? He might not even know himself. IF Sparano brings Daboll to NY as some sort of offensive coach (which is being rumored now that Daboll is getting fired this week sometime) then we know what kind offense Tony will run. Either way it will be boring, bland, vanilla, and run heavy!

Not concerned at all.

False.  He was the OC for Boston University from 1989 - 1993

HA! I stand corrected! And maybe he called the plays for his sons Pop Warner team as well.

In even BETTER news. The Jets just signed our old offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo

I see Sparano is poaching Miami's coaching staff because all the poachable guys from Dallas are already in Miami. Hopefully he brings Mark Columbo up to New Jersey too.

As a Dolphin fan I see the TS hire as a real yawner. The hire I get excited about was the Jets hiring Gug as the o line coach. LMAO!! Good luck with that. How about a 1st round pick for Colombo??  Roll Eyes
