The reason he dropped so far is because he had shoulder surgery at the end of last season, but he is fine now. This was an excellent pickup for the dolphins and he CAN catch well. Not to mention he is lightning fast!
Fast and he is a one-cut runner. That is the part people like, the one-cut runner. When he sees the hole, he hits the hole, and just goes and lets his speed be put on display! The comparisons he often gets to Chris Johnson are fair.
I am NOT saying he is the next Chris Johnson by any means, but the style of play with the speed is very similar. If he can fine-tune his game he could be very good in a rotation with Daniel Thomas for this franchise! Because that is your backfield of the future if everything goes right.
The shoulder injury, hey as they said on NFL Network the other day. Anthony Munoz failed his physical before he was drafted because he had a surgery just before the draft. Now he has a mustard colored jacket in his closet. You have to take these things with a grain of salt. Some teams are just very over protective. It was just bad luck for Miller that he had his surgery in December and the combine and workouts fall in February/March. It's not like he blew out a knee, he had shoulder surgery. An easy surgery to come back from for a running back.
