Just announced. Torn ACL. He will never be the same. The island has sunk. Green grass and high tides forever.

At least that was one bright moment from that disaster of a game.  We knocked Revis into the middle of next season.

We knocked Revis into the middle of next season.

Revis wasn't touched by a Dolphin when he was injured.

And seeing a great player suffer an injury like that is NEVER a "bright moment", no matter what team is involved.

Saw him go down and told Brian, that looked like the Wes Welker knee tear play. No contact, no one near him, just a freak play

Tommy has never really cared about an opposing player's well being.

Ironically, it was on Daniel Thomas' catch and run.  His greatest contribution as a Dolphin is cutting hard to the right and causing Revis to wreck his knee.  I'll cut him some slack for that, I guess. Wink

I hate to see a star player lost for the season so early, but that's part of the game.  It was just a freak occurrence.

Right or wrong, this is why he holds out every offseason for more money. When he comes back he probably won't be the same player he was.  He will lose a little something. He will still be great but he won't be so great teams fear him and never throw his way. Now when he comes back teams will pick on him constantly until he proves he is the same guy he once was.

If he does ever get back to where he was, which I doubt, it will take at least 2 years.
