He suffered another head injury yesterday. Coming off his concussion from Week 1 the team might hold him out for a little while and he might miss a few games according to reports. More tests are being done.

What will the team do without a terrible running back?

I know Thomas hasn't been great but with Bush clearly still "banged up" and with Miller's weak pass blocking and forgetting plays on occasion (like in Arizona) it does leave the Fins thin at RB.  Although this coaching staff loves to handoff to Lane on more than just short yardage occasions (which does baffle me sometimes) so maybe it's not a huge issue.

Let's hope it's not serious, as the way backs are going down around the league, the pickings are thin at best from a free agent pool.

Why don't we just trade up in the 2nd. round & get a top flight nfl running back?

Geez, I was certainly willing to cut Thomas some slack last year for his multitude of injuries, but a second season of injuries is just disappointing.  Miller better get his act together because the job is his for the taking.

Why would this baffle you?  For 30+ years, NFL fullbacks carried the ball as often as running backs...  Tongue

I'm sure Miller if used properly will suffice.  Plus there's always the waiver wire if all you need is a role guy.

LOL  Could be a trend. lol

Going into the season I would have never thought we would be thin at RB. WR, yes. CB, yes. RB, no.

A constant dose of concussion train(FB) add in a sprinkle of Miller and Thigpen, not to mention halfback Clay and we will slice up the buttery Lamb defense and gain weight doing it hehehe!

A constant dose of concussion train(FB) add in a sprinkle of Miller and Thigpen, not to mention keeping the ball far away from halfback Clay who can't seem to catch it/handle it when it's near him and we will slice up the buttery Lamb defense and gain weight doing it hehehe!
