Hmm. We don't know how it would have turned out if he actually died.
If he didn't "actually die," then what he experienced was not the afterlife, but instead some sort of bizarre dream/hallucination conjured up by a critically-injured brain on the brink of death.

Which works pretty well for explaining all of these kinds of incidents, actually.

This is not a good basis for belief in the afterlife. OOBEs like this one have been shown to be caused by circumstances which are not like death - passing out from extreme speed gives you the same sort of "head toward the light" feeling.

There are rational arguments for belief in the afterlife. You either are convinced by those, or you're not.

In fact, if you read and believe in the bible, then you know that you do indeed need faith.

Using the bible to prove the existance of God is like using a comic book to prove the existance of superman.

Keep on believing that.

Keep on believing that.

Knowledge is better than belief... Understanding is better than faith.

Now, go ahead and give me that little song and dance about how you know and understand God... It's a catchy tune, despite the repetitive lyrics.

Fins4ever, it's quite literally circular reasoning.

Saying "If you believe in the Bible, then you know that you need faith," is no different than saying, "If you have faith, then you know that you need faith."

You are twisting my words to fit your point of view and this will be my last post on this topic. Maybe I should have said if you read and believe in the Bible, you have faith instead of need faith.

Either way, I am not out to convince or sway anyone to my point of view. You believe what you want. I prefer to believe in the Bible and have faith in Jesus and an afterlife, but that is just me.

Have a great day and God bless!

I'm definitely stealing that.  LOL  Similar to "I know the Bible is true because the Bible says it is."
