**thread jack....Read Strokes Bio on him....Read the el diablo comment...looked at the picture again...My first thought was the "Nigerian Nightmare" Christian Okoye(I know Great Britain, but it does say Okoye),I thought...Damn I'd hate to have to tackle that...About 50#'s bigger, and 5" taller than Christian was..Being so close to K.C. surrounded by Chiefs fans,he was all heard about when I was in jr high, and high school...Thankfully my coaches were 49ers fans...End thread Jack***

I wasn't even thinking about tackling that. I feel sorry for the QB that tries in the event of an interception.

I know this will not be popular with the "Philbin Way" crowd, but I would've loved to have seen the Dolphins taking a chance on Da'Rick Rodgers. Undrafted FA, low risk, high reward. Unfortunately, Buffalo has him. Still would've been nice.

^^^ Yes, and so does the International Olympic Committee...the guy's been regularly tested.  In a deep search, I haven't even been able to find a single mention of any concerns about that sort of thing either.  As smart as this guy is, I really would be surprised if he was doing anything like that.
I think the Olympic testing is a lot like the testing they do for bicycle racing. Maybe he's smart enough to not get caught?

^^^ Maybe...or maybe you're just on hallucinogens. Until you both piss in a cup, we can't really know for sure. Wink

No system of testing is weaker than that of pro football.

There's been a fair bit of coverage about Okoye over here, obviously because he's one of our 2012 Olympians but also because he's one of 2 or 3 UK origin players that were up for the draft this year. It makes a change from the usual coverage where anyone with the most tenuous links to being British is talked about as if they're British and in the draft!

Would be great to see him do well, and if he does it's a shame he's not doing it for the Dolphins but I'll cope with listening to you rave about him for the 49ers!
