This team hosted a team that was clearly better on both sides of the ball.  The Falcons were within a mule's breath of going to the Super Bowl last year.  Miami was outrushed 146-90.... and won anyway.  Miami was outpassed 231-195..... and won anyway.  Miami was outplayed in ball control, running only 55 plays to Atlanta's 68..... and won anyway.  Miami was dominated in time of possession 37:09 to 22:51...... and won anyway.  Miami clearly looked like a team that was not realy to play at the elite level of this league against a Super Bowl contenter..... and won anyway.

Let's here some thoughts after today's win.

Miami came up big in the 4th quarter on both sides of the ball and pulled out a big win. This was a game that Miami could have easily panicked at several points in the game (much like a lot of fans did judging by the game thread), but they didn't. They just kept hanging around and giving themselves a chance to win and then pulled it off in the end. Huge win for the entire organization, players, coaches and front office who spent a lot of money in the off-season and so far so good.
